James Sutton

James is a demonstration of what it means to give your life over to purpose. He used his time inside to serve and to heal in any way that he could. He has a willingness to look at everything that comes up for him in a new way. It is not hard to see the light in him and that he brings it to all he encounters.

Choosing Purpose Inside

While inside, James chose to make his time a sanctuary for healing, serving where he could, practicing a new way of seeing, and letting the past be reinterpreted. The Course’s path of forgiveness gave him tools and traction.

Being the Brother He Needed
He wanted to be the brother he needed, someone who believes change is real and walks with you while you practice it.

Hope Over Hype
Approachable and sincere, James offers patient companionship and clear encouragement. Prayer: “Use my story to point to hope, not to me.”

Identity Relearned
He’s learned that identity is in Spirit, not history. Serving others keeps confirming the simple truth: we can always choose again.
